Pros

Lots of Snacks and swag given out

Cons

Far too many people looking for a reason to get offended. "Snowflake" mentality with many of the employees. Sales results do not matter. They state "Seek first to understand, then to be understood" as a core value but then promote a culture of back stabbing and behind the back dealings. Sales leaders have their own CULTure and if you aren't part of the "IN" crowd, then don't plan on being around too long.

Hey there, sorry to hear that this was your experience. Seeking to understand is crucial to our ability to work together and for everyone to be heard and valued. We don’t always get it right, but we want to be practicing it in all that we do. Thanks for sharing your experience. - Anita

Glory Days of Pluralsight are Over

Pros

Great people, amazing talent. Great amenities. A lot of food, soda, and really cool office.

Cons

Pluralsight once was the envy of startups in Utah. Crazy awesome culture. Transparent. A lot of love and a lot of trust in the vision of management. Now it is completely gone. There is incredible fear and suspicion. Everyone feels insecure. The culture has been completely overhauled and is now an extremely stressful place to work. There is absolutely no upside to working for this organization. Most people feel there has been a bait-and-switch because they were lured to take a lower salary and instead work in a fantastic culture. This is no more. The leadership has completely ruined it and now it is a place of cutthroat fear, competition, and insecurity. The glory days of Pluralsight are gone. No one is promoted internally. Nepotism is awful.

Deception is everything

Pros

Understanding of schedules. Friendly admin staff. Full benefits. CEO is collaborative, loves hearing good feedback. Gives credit where credit is due.

Cons

Poor marketing management. Change in culture was not embraced, or understood unless upper management 'thought of it first'. If you are not a man you do not have much say in the company. Mormon culture is strong in this company. Very conservative. As a woman, if you stand up for yourself, you are 'condescending'. CEO does not listen to issues, and makes you feel as though you are the problem, not the management.
