Pros

Great PTO, good compensation, and most of the people are awesome to work with.

Cons

SOOO many layoffs over the last year and a half. I've lost track how many. Four? Or five? After a while it just began to feel like the ELT weren't even trying. And some of the teams they got rid of made no sense! We are trying to work on keeping content fresh but now have gotten rid of the content maintenance team who worked on updating the out of date courses? And I've lost two incredible managers who both were great at their jobs! Then the CEO just changed... Which may be a good thing? To soon to tell.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. The past year and a half have been particularly challenging, and I understand your frustration with repeated layoffs. I know you specifically mentioned the content organization so I wanted to provide some additional context around that restructure. Content freshness has been a key concern for our customers, and to address this, we introduced a new ELT member, the Chief Content Officer. This role is focused on setting new goals and standards to enhance our content offerings and better meet customer needs and deliver on our promises. Our leadership team is focused on bringing stability and a clear strategic direction to our organization. We’re committed to making Pluralsight a great place to work. Thank you for your input and continued commitment to Pluralsight. Will Clive Chief People Officer

Struggling

Pros

There is a good culture of inclusion and wellness. Unlimited PTO isn't just a scam, but encouraged for you to take time.

Cons

Due to economic situations and being owned by PE and heavily leveraged, there've been layoffs and many teams lack needed resources to be in a innovation mindset rather than a reactionary mindset. Lots of change has made things chaotic and feeling of job security is low.

I also acknowledge and understand your concerns about the amount of change that we’ve experienced. Our leadership team is actively addressing these challenges with a strategic focus on stabilizing and aligning our efforts for sustainable growth.
