Pros

Podium gives me the opportunity to take ownership of work and make improvements across the business. The growth seen by Podium over the last several years has provided many opportunities to learn and grow my experience. My team is very cohesive and collaborative. We enjoy working together to attain a common goal.

Cons

At times, the business can be too sales focused which leads to short-term gains and long-term pains.

Pros

I've been at Podium for several years (post-Covid and through two layoffs) and it's been a rollercoaster! This company is fast-paced, customer-obsessed, and DRIVEN to success. I've found career advancement at Podium, consistent increase of monetary compensation, and truly work with some incredible individuals across all the teams at Podium. Some of my favorite "Pros": - Daycare AT THE office (it's the most wonderful thing) - Fast-paced growth - Extremely talented, intelligent, fun individuals - FOCUS (a recent adjustment - company focus, department focus, team focus, individual focus) - Transparency (I do believe that the executive team does everything they can to be transparent) - Being customer-obsessed (not just in words on a page but in actions!) - Ownership (at every level of the company)

Cons

While there have been some major low moments at Podium: two layoffs and losing senior leadership (for some teams) on a semi-regular basis. The high moments have been fun and inspiring to be a part of. As with most companies - moving fast can mean some sacrifice in work-life balance (working weekend/evening hours, etc.) Typically I find that when I need to work extra hours it's for something extra worthwhile, but can still be a strain.

Pros

+ Fast-paced and a lot of opportunity to have impact + Great customer -- it's fun to build for small business owners, and the product straddles B2B and consumer + Ample feedback / mentorship, most people care about helping each other + Not a ton of ego amongst the people who remain in EPD post-RIF, everyone is great to work with. Good balance of urgency and warmth + 30 mins from the world's best skiing + Onsite daycare

Cons

- Not a lot of diversity amongst leadership - Build-the-plane-while-flying culture is not for everyone - Some top-down mandating (not sure if that's avoidable anywhere)
