Pros

In my almost 2 years at Podium, I had a lot of upward movement and career progression opportunities. I like that they value hard work and reward that with promotions. I love the people at Podium. It's the best part of the company. The products are really cool as well. It was cool being a part of a company that did so much for small businesses. In the beginning, they offered a lot of cool swag. They haven't really done much in terms of swag lately though (I think since Dec. '21). I heard that the person in charge of swag was let go and they haven't reintroduced swag since. They bring in lunch every Wednesday which is nice.

Cons

CONSTANT changes. I was thrown for a major loop almost every 6-7 months. Departments being dissolved, moving to a new team, directors being let go. It was realllllly challenging to get your footing underneath you. Just when you would feel like you got the hang of things you would be thrown another change. I know that with a fast growing company comes change, but they would spring HUGE changes on the company and expect everyone to role with the punches. Even if it majorly impacted the employees - like layoffs. If you like waking up one day and seeing 40% of your team get let go with no warning beforehand, this is the place for you. They preach that you can have a work like balance at Podium, but when it comes to balance, that was not my experience. If I had dr's appts, appts for my kid, etc, I had my manager slacking me all day everyday. I didn't feel like the management truly trusted me as an employee. Since July, things have started going downhill at this company - and very quickly. Lots of higher ups (directors, TL's and VP's) have left over the last several months. It's always a bit concerning when people who have been with the company almost since the beginning start leaving all at once. I feel like Podium's leaders have lost touch with the employees and it's sad. They have lost a huge amount of talent due to poor judgement.

Pros

None other than some free food

Cons

unrealistic expectations, toxic culture, no loyalty, low pay. They will fire you out of the blue for any reason. Employees are leaving in drones and there is a reason for that. Stay far away from this company because you will soon regret it as almost everyone does. Most people can only last 3 months at this sinking ship.
