Great Company, Friendly Teammates, and Fulfilling Work
Pros
- The company has a clear vision for making the world a better place. I feel like I am able to make a difference in achieving this vision. - Everyone at the company is super friendly and easy to work with. Great team dynamics! - Awesome diversity and inclusion - As someone who lives in a smaller town, remote work is one of my "must have's". Podium is striving towards a remote-first experience with newer hires. - I was able to recently visit the HQ during a hack week. It was awesome to be able to meet my team members in person.
Cons
- Like pretty much every software job out there, you'll be on-call. It's not uncommon to get paged in the middle of the night. - Merged code goes straight to production. This was a little nerve-racking as a newer employee, but am getting used to this process. I think would be nice to see some minor adjustments to this process though.
