Pros

The people are amazing. When we discuss hard problems and debate solutions it's with humor and grace. The product evolution is exciting and I laugh a lot at work. I truly enjoy the people so much.

Cons

The startup environment isn't for everyone. You need to move at lightning speed and be ready to pivot at any moment.

Pros

-It's a fast paced environment which allows for a lot of growth in personal career to step into high impactful projects. -I always feel stretched and given opportunities to take on new challenges, so I've felt heard in my career ambitions. -Podium is growing a ton and in a really good growing motion which is fun to be part of that success. -I really do love who I work with. My team, other partners, and hiring managers have all been amazing to work with. -I also love to be surrounded by incredible, hard working, smart individuals to learn from. The bar is high, so it's great to learn from my co-workers.

Cons

-any startup will have it's highs and lows time periods. Podium is no different so there will always be changes and pivots in a growing environment which does sometimes get frustrating but it means the company is growing and adapting to what the business needs. -I don't love the 5 days in office, but I do it because that's what the business is asking. My manager has been very flexible with me whenever I need it so just depends on your manager. -I do also wish there were more DE&I initiatives but right now it's a bit limited.
