      They Don't Care About Employees

      They say they are trying to make improvements

      Cons

      Half the team is constantly on performance plan. They won't show the data to back up quota expectations. Product is sub-par and 2x the price of many competitors. Exec team won't acknowledge the competition, quickly losing market share. Almost no opportunity to earn promotions. They will tell you all is well and that the company is thriving, but then will have layoffs & restructures with no notice or provocation.

      - occasionally snacks and lunch - people are casual and friendly

      Cons

      - low ability to move up quickly - much of leadership is men dominated even though some teams mainly consist of females - favor towards friends rather than results - lower compensation compared to the average

      - Interesting product - Neat coworkers - Pay is OK for industry

      Cons

      I was hired as a remote employee and they just instituted a mandatory in-office policy for Utah employees, myself included. I was assured in my interviews and offer that my job would stay remote and I took it based on that promise. I now am stuck with deciding between quitting or wasting my life in a commute. Podium has the frat boy tech bro culture typical of Utah companies. If you’re a nom white non male person, stay away unless you want to be subjected to micro aggressions and being treated like an Other.
