      Too Good to be True

      Pros

      There are a lot of smart and driven people at Podium, and they have a good product. I always felt like they had a bright future ahead with a lot of room for growth.

      Cons

      I have worked a a few different billion dollar companies with all differentm kinds of management personalities but this by far was the most toxic. If the CEO didn't like you everyone knew. He was very impulsive, and the management team was too afraid to stand up to him in any capacity. I even witnessed him cussing at an employee for accidentally disrupting a meeting. I am hopeful that in his time as a leader he has grown out of these bad habits and learned some empathy and what true leadership really is.

      Pros

      Podium is a young SaaS company that has proven itself as being a leader in Silicon Slopes. They have awesome benefits like tons of free food, free drinks, stylish swag, and two cool buildings.

      Cons

      Just taking a look at their VPs, there is no diversity in either gender or race. They say they care about diversity but they are missing the inclusion part. Women are hardly seen in positions of authority or are part of important meetings. The male to female ratio is 85/15. If you are not part of their ideal demographic with respect to religion, race, and gender, you will likely struggle to succeed and advance at Podium.

      Pros

      Lots of autonomy and flexibility Great leadership and managers Unlimited PTO Work is fulfilling, challenging, and meaningful Not a dog eat dog culture. Very collaborative and supportive. There's always room to grow in the projects you take on. No micromanagement. Leaders trust their teams. Good communication and transparency at all letters.

      Cons

      Definitely needs to make greater strides in diversity in the work place. Work place culture can be alienating at times because of high degree of homogeneity.
