Pros

I feel incredibly lucky to be part of Podium! From day one, the culture here has been welcoming, collaborative, and energizing. Everyone genuinely wants to see each other succeed, and leadership is transparent, supportive, and deeply invested in both our personal and professional growth. The work we do is exciting — we're building innovative products that make a real difference for businesses. I love how much trust and ownership we’re given over our work. The teams here are filled with talented, passionate people who are always willing to help and share ideas. Work-life balance is great, the benefits are competitive, and there's a strong focus on recognizing and rewarding hard work. I truly feel valued and empowered here.

Cons

Honestly, none that stand out — it’s been a great experience

Pros

Amazing work Balance. Pay is good. Coworkers are amazing to work with especially the offshore folks. Great team bonding, and you'll always learn something new.

Cons

I will say my only con is career advancement. I feel like with Podium you learn as you grown, but sometimes you can miss out on great candidates if you just look at the black, and white. Like if there are tools an employee isn't knowledgeable in why not teach them the tools, or have Udemy so that we can be certified in the tools that will allow us to grow in more technical roles. Also the insurance rate can be expensive if you have kids, but I love the hospital indemnity plan!

Pros

I've worked for several SaaS companies in onboarding, and I can say this is easily the best place to work from a product perspective, from a culture perspective, and from a growth perspective. The product is great. It provides a clear value for a clear market. It's always easier to come to work knowing the product you're representing is effective and useful. The product has a specific focus on helping small businesses, so I feel good getting to see the product work for them in real time. The people are some of the best I've worked with. They seem to have a knack for finding extremely talented people with extremely low egos. It's easy to collaborate across teams and departments because most people also want to collaborate with you. If you've got a great idea, they will let you run with it. The growth within Podium is also insane. Many roles have clearly-defined career paths, some of which auto-promote you when you've hit the metrics and experience requirements. Within a year, you can go from OM1 to OM3 and bump your pay up 30% without even having to ask for a promotion. With the amount of company growth and new roles that are being created, there's room to grow if you want to. Sure, you have to put work in, but there are many opportunities to fill a gap or spearhead a project if you're looking.

Cons

Some people may love the frequent changes, but they may frustrate some people. The speed of innovation means that teams and roles are constantly opening up and evolving. It can be really exciting, but some people may value consistency over agility. Podium is in a position to be a leader in really interesting ways, but if you don't like change, this may be a challenging place and time for you at Podium. Some of the career-path transitions within the company can also be a little rocky. For example, there's currently no way to move from an OM3 to a CSM1 without taking a slight cut in base pay. This isn't great if that's the career path they want to promote (which they've said it is). OTE is a little higher with variable comp, but I think we've lost some great talent having a growth path where progression can feel like a setback you have to overcome.
