Pros

Podium is a company with a mission I truly believe in—helping local businesses succeed in a digital world. I feel empowered and fulfilled in my role, especially knowing the impact our software has on real people. The people I work with are smart, kind, and fun to collaborate with. I’ve had opportunities to grow my career in ways that align with my personal goals, including a transition into management and then back to engineering. As a remote employee, I feel well-supported and connected to my team, thanks to effective communication tools and an annual on-site that helps build strong relationships across the company.

Cons

Like many tech companies, there can be moments of stress or shifting priorities. But overall, there’s nothing major I’d call out as a con. The typical challenges of working in a fast-paced environment apply here too—keeping up with change, balancing multiple projects—but I’ve found the company supportive through it all.

Pros

Podium hires incredibly talented people—some of the best PMs, content strategists, and designers I’ve worked with. Strong culture of growth and support from management—every manager I’ve had has genuinely cared about my development and compensation. ICs (independent contributors) have meaningful ownership and can influence the roadmap in impactful ways. The fast-paced "launch and learn" approach keeps things dynamic and ensures we're building based on real feedback. Unlimited PTO is genuinely unlimited—it's respected and easy to use without micromanagement. Remote work is a huge benefit, saving time and money and offering great flexibility. Despite the fast changes, the company continues to grow steadily, and I consistently feel excited to return to work.

Cons

The rapid pace and frequent change can be stressful—nothing stays the same for too long, from tooling to leadership. Strategy and direction can shift quickly, sometimes driven by enterprise customers or exec mandates. While remote work is a plus, remote employees currently don’t receive a home office stipend and miss out on in-office perks and events.

Pros

Fast Pace Every 6 months at Podium represents 5 years anywhere else They reward hard working individuals

Cons

When everything is urgent, nothing is urgent. Sometimes "busy" work is added to make things feel like we are moving with urgency but we actually aren't moving the needle.
