Great Job Stupid Policies

Pros

Great fun place to work, employees are nice and friendly and all that good stuff

Cons

In order to be a cashier you have to drive all the way to Fullerton for 2 classes which both take about 2 hours. Then If you wish to become a server you have to start off as a cashier which makes sense so you can learn the menu Etc, but you also have to now take 4 more classes in Fullerton and do multiple packets of how to be a server even if you have prior serving experience. It’s a waste of time I have never heard of any other restaurant that does this and if you don’t have reliable transportation you’re kinda screwed. Keep in mind you can basically learn how to do the job and it’s policies of greeting people etc just by working at the job you really do not need the classes. So I don’t Know why they make them required
