Management pretend to care about their employee's
Pros
Parm who is deskside team lead is an absolute gent. He will help you in everyway possible. Money is ok as a stepping stone from entry level. Relaxed environment as long as you on top of the work coming in.
Cons
Manager is not great. Their man management is lacking. Will jump down your throat before knowing full facts of any issue that may arise. You're contracted to work for Stryker, so if anything comes back to him that a Stryker employee may not be happy about, he's not going to come to you in a curious manner, will disregard anything you will say. He will call you and see if you will hang yourself out to dry before telling you what he heard of the issue. Pretends to care about his employee's but doesn't really. They prefer yes men employee's. You won't get positive feedback unless they want you to do something, move building for example. If you do get positive feedback, it will all be forgotten if an issue you can't control arises. Then you're put under the microscope for the rest of your time there. No salary increases. Even if you try fight for it, you will be told no. The salary you get, will be the salary you leave with unless you move into their manufacturing side of things. Even at that role, you are massively under paid for the amount of pressure you're put under and the knowledge you must know. Not to mention the team lead for that team is a major gossip, and isn't afraid to speak ill of you behind your back or go to the manager with exaggerated stories or events. Carraigtwohill buildings is one big clique. Being on the right side of the manufacturing team lead will help as he is the center of everything being said about you. Becareful of what you say to anyone there, as it's passed around between the other members in every Stryker building in the area.
