Does not get raises like you should. Should get better raises like every 6 months

answered an ad for a position, job description was rather vague. sat around at the job for months with nothing to do. When the job finally was defined it was nothing like the original ad. pay is very poor. when we found out the position was going to be more stressful and intense then we thought. managers were approached on increasing pay. their response was "if you don't like it we will replace you". Promises made in interviews were broken and attempts to rectify the situation almost resulted in several firings.
