Pros

I've only been working for Poplin for a month, but I absolutely love it so far! The customers have been nice, customer service/concierge agents have been very helpful, and I've already made it to #54 for my state on the leader board! Very pleased with this side gig. It's perfect for this stay-at-home mama!

Cons

I am allergic to cats and some dogs, and several orders have animal hair all on them. I wish we could see which customers have inside cats/dogs before accepting orders.

Pros

If you’re a stay at home mom this might be the job you’ve been looking for. I get to spend time with my kids, they get to ride with me for pickups and drop offs and I do it on my time. You can pick up orders when you can and make you’re own schedule. You don’t have to deal with people face to face. The tips make it super worth it.

Cons

Some downsides would be that they do take .25 cents per pound for every order which adds up but the tips make up for it. We use a lot of plastic, but I do reuse customers bags as my trash bags so that’s a plus. Starting out some of the orders may be a 20-30 min drive from home but since we now have QR codes you can easily get more clients closer to home.

Pros

I am one of those strange souls who actually enjoy doing laundry…so this gig is perfect for me. To be clear, this is NOT a get rich quick scheme! But it allows me to earn some money while sticking to my own schedule, working when and where I am able, and still leaves me free to attend all my daughter's activities. I've earned the trust of a few regulars now and have enjoyed my time with Poplin thus far! I'm gold and growing!

Cons

Hit or miss to start Takes time to grow Not gonna get rich quick unless you handle a steady, heavy volume of orders.
