Pros
I had an excellent experience interning at Populus Group. Management does a great job of including their interns in the company's ecosystem and making sure every intern has a chance to succeed within the company. For an intern, what you want out of your internship is a place that can 1) get you a foothold for a future career within the company and 2) teach you valuable information and skills that no matter where the future takes you, you can look back and realize how valuable an experience that internship was. I saw first hand at Populus Group that they uphold both those points to the highest degree. Being an Accounting major at Oakland University and seeking a career in that profession, Populus Group gave me my first real world experience and taught me countless skills in Excel which is so valuable for accounting majors. I can't speak highly enough about interning at Populus Group and hope everyone who accepts an offer at Populus knows that they are truly in good hands.
Cons
Lengthy and unusual interview process but it is only because they are searching for the best of the best. Not many cons I saw while interning here.
