Pros
High- end product. Modern showrooms.
Cons
It's 2016, not 2008. Hire enough staff to cover the showroom and pay your experienced employees at least market rate. Management likes to keep a revolving door of entry level new hires to keep overhead costs low. Some of us who are not the manager's pets are doing the work of 2 or more employees, with no recognition or hope for a promotion. We are all working too hard in order to make management wealthier, with little incentive to stay. Long retail hours and few paid holidays. Mandatory showroom hours Thanksgiving weekend at their poorly-timed yearly sale. High pressure unrealistic sales quotas that increase each year (with no salary increase). No time off for Christmas or New Years. No customer service and constant stock delays and errors from the factories in Spain who supply the products. Too much red tape and corporate bureaucracy around finding effective solutions for clients' inevitably troubled orders. Management steps in only when the clients lawyer up and scream at you. It's "Metropolis" meets "A Christmas Carol" here.
