Pretty good place to work for part-time. Decent pay. Coworkers and bosses are also great.

Cons

You see all kinds of students, which can sometimes be difficult to work with, but it's also good experience. Not too bad.

Pros

Every employee plays a role in serve a valuable service to the community. Our mission is value driven and the purpose is to better the lives of others through education. It is rewarding and meaningful work.

Cons

Morale is at an all-time low at the start of 2025. Due to lack of leadership, and inconsistent direction. Meetings that have no results and the issue at hand can go on unaddressed literally for months to years. Favoritism still exists which makes the DEI focus disingenuous. Management and confidential positions have increased by 43% since 2012 while student enrollment decreased roughly 25%. The number of FT Faculty positions has decreased by 8% over that same time period. In addition, PCC currently spends $40M per year on management salaries, an 88% increase over the past decade!
