Have a side gig that will maybe pay as much as uber.

Cons

Everyone is super hypocritical. Admins are always out to get faculty and will turn on you if you don't worship them. Pay is a joke and you will work 400% the hours that you are paid to work (but it's legal because grading and class development are just "part of the job" that you're not paid for). Don't even consider working here; run as fast as you can away!

Wonderful colleagues and amazing students. PCC has great values and emphasizes social justice, equity and inclusion.

Cons

Part time faculty are compensated and treated unfairly. They are disregarded and under-appreciated at every level. It’s only getting worse and the administration shows no indication this will change.
