Terrible environment for staff

Pros

Salary and 401k are competitive.

Cons

Exploitative managerial behavior - expecting staff to work incessantly because their lousy management leads to constant turnover. Way too many managers, who have absolutely no clue how to lead departments, support their staff, or stand up to senior management. Absolutely no leadership at any level. CEO bragged openly about "record high disconnects" at a staff meeting (during a heatwave, no less). That's who Oregonians are paying over a million dollars a year to...someone who thinks disconnecting power to people in need is a laughing matter. Truly shameful. Probably will not come as a shock, but women are paid less than men, and given fewer advancement opportunities.

Pros

I had a great manager, loved my team, good work life balance

Cons

I would have a hard time telling you exactly what I did at this company. The position I was in seemed very unnecessary and I was anxious almost every day wondering what I was supposed to be doing. There were little tasks, mostly documentation, all of which had little to do with my mechanical engineering degree, but nowhere near enough to last 40 hours most weeks.
