Pros

Working in Customer Service at PGE has been such a great experience for me. If you like helping people, thinking on your feet, and staying open to different perspectives, you’d probably love it here. The culture is super supportive, and we’re big on growth, accountability, and actually valuing what makes each person different. If you’re someone who likes to learn and is looking for a career, there are tons of ways to grow here. We focus on career development from day one. And people really do notice your hard work. It feels good to know your contributions matter. Day to day, we get to talk with our neighbors and local businesses creating genuine connections. Plus, volunteering and being involved in the community is a huge part of our culture. I know it sounds cheesy, but I seriously didn’t expect this place to be as awesome as it is until I got here.

Cons

No workplace is perfect, including PGE. But something I’ve noticed during my time here is how fast we adjust when something isn’t working or misses the mark. Things don’t just get swept under the rug. Not dodging the question, it's just that I can't identify a con because our leadership is attentive to continuous improvement, not just for employees but for our organization too.

Pros

Great insurance and 401K. Competitive wages. Direct leadership works to maintain an open door policy and safe environment. Good amount of PTO.

Cons

In office more days than at home. Frequent changes to systems and processes can make it difficult if you are not readily adaptable.
