Pros

Great benefit and retirement packages.

Cons

Great to be downtown but it is a fragmented university. An "each for their own" mentality. Departments don't work together.

Pros

Depending on your manager, you can have a really great job with a lot of autonomy to fulfill your personal and professional mission. Life work balance is extraordinary. There are pockets of deeply committed professionals that make working here a joy and a daily learning experience.

Cons

Lack of information and direction from senior management. fund balance accounting makes it impossible to ever know where your program/department/school is according to projections. The ability A huge number of disenfranchised mid-level managers that bleeds all over their employees. There are random individuals that are extremely poor workers who know there is nothing anyone can do to them to get rid of them.
