I'd be extremely hesitant to come to this company right now in any role (it's on-prem software and it's only a matter of time before AI takes over it's market share), but extremely hesitant to come here in a sales role. I've been here for many years and have seen the fall, rise and now fall again of the sales team and organization. The company had a strong history of diversity and culture, and for a period of time, I'd say this was one of the best sales cultures I've ever seen. Then, despite it not working in past sales exec hires, they brought in yet another ex-Googler who came in and sadly destroyed everything that was good. The VP of Sales who was the glue and the reason most of us loved working here, then left the organization. What we are left with is "leaders" who can only be described as chaotic, untrustworthy and self-serving. Not surprising that these same "leaders" don't have good talent networks and are making terrible hires (one of the last hires was a guy that had another FT job). And the cherry on top? They just hired a new VP of Sales who appears to be a carbon copy of the CSO--it's just insanity. I've never seen so much cronyism in my career....so again, unless you are really desperate, I'd go somewhere else. It's a house of cards that has to be on the brink of crumbling.
