      Smart colleagues and interesting challenges, but silos exist

      Pros

      - lots of very smart people across every department - very wide breadth of products - many interesting technical challenges

      Cons

      - feels siloed even for a small-ish company - some very smart and good intentioned people are also blinded by their own biases - making sustainable revenue to support giving away as much open source work as possible especially in the age of AI is becoming more and more challenging

      Great Company Culture, just be a self starter!

      Pros

      The company treats everyone with respect, and loves hearing new ideas. Not really a con, but they do a good job picking candidates that are qualified for their job so the company can be very asynchronous. Just make sure you're a self starter and helping with the mission because Posit is a great company!

      Cons

      Not a real con but not a fan of the reimbursement process for travel. There's platforms like Navan that exist so employees don't have to use their own money but that's the only thing I can think of.
