Pros

Good training and wide variety of projects

Cons

For flexibility, the company downsized its FTEs in order to reduce overheads. Project work is now mainly managed by contractors. Not good for FTEs but good opportunities if you are an external contract worker

Pros

The Post Office is now franchised, so you may not have the same post master depending on the office you go to. Fast paced (most of the time), you are responsible for a alrge number of products - it's not just stamps and postage

Cons

Having to directly sell to customers even when they weren't interested. Having to ask and assume personal details such as age to sell them products, eg over 50's life insurance. Can be mundane when the most of the day is counting out benefits and pensions to customers.
