you're your own boss, good salary from the Post Office, pension, commission

Cons

responsibility handling thousands of pounds worth of money, having to meet targets, controlling staff

Pros

Team atmosphere, speaking to customers who normally wouldnt want to talk when in a queue

Cons

Managers were all about sales, to the point where customers were going to other post offices to avoid ours and our sales pitch

Good working hours - 35 per week. A high level of flexibility - starting late or finishing early. Generous holiday allowance. Good salary.

Cons

Working between different teams is not very efficient. It takes a long time for any decisions to get made. They make a lot of decisions without thinking them through.
