Potbelly is a great brand, but poor at developing management and leadership

Pros

Growing Brand, Great product, Great Values on Paper (originally aspired to be about the people)

Cons

Poor Senior Management, Poor developers of people and leadership. Because of poor people development, fast growing brand has no bench for management and senior leadership and most districts are under staffed. All focus is on financial metrics, no investment in people development.

Pros

Co-workers are generally nice and pleasant. The food is pretty good and the atmosphere is unique. Having live music is a plus.

Cons

The company is run very poorly. Changes happen often and typically capsize, while important information regarding pay is often given the run around. Pay stubs often do not include any raises, which are nearly impossible to get. Benefits are not disclosed and more seems to be getting taken away.

Decent work hours when i was there

Cons

became very corporate towards the end, they lost alot of the "sandwich shop" mojo, now they are just another corporate restaurant looking for the big bucks...
