Salaries are not inflation adjusted and raises must be asked for. The bonus structure is a web of complication; your performance must be near perfect (if you get a bad project [difficult client, bad field resources, bas estimate] forget about it), after that it takes an inexplicable amount of time to be paid out, and disbursement stops at your project manager who decides whether or not they would like to give you a bonus and for how much.
