      Truly rewarding but Genesis is lacking. PCA.

      Pros

      Very rewarding job. Residents are awesome. They are the only reason i stay probably. Thats about all i can say about that tho.

      Cons

      Bad benefits including unmatched 401k. Management favors certain employees. They only like ones who work overtime and who work doubles or shifts without any notice. Abuse and neglect gets ignored by management. Most of the upper management doesnt leave their offices to say hello to residents and they ALL notice it.

      Extreme micromanagement by Administrator, who has No nursing background whatsoever.

      Pros

      just a source of income, most of the staff are a pleasure to work with. Good Aides and nursing staff.

      Cons

      Always short staffed especially 3-11 and 11-7. No incentive to work short or come in and help out. Sometimes one Aide is scheduled for sixty residents in 11-7. Sometimes nurses have to fill in as Aides.
