Pros

I love the coworkers, supervisor, and have even met regional and VP staff. The top tends to really care about the role I play in company.

Cons

Health Insurance is not very good. Especially since working in healthcare. The 2016 plans have your Rx grouped with your Medical so until you reach your deductible you have zero coverage for your Rx. For me it hasn't been too bad but the uproar that happened resulted in sending out discount cards for employees to help off set the costs. They have already stated that there will be a change to that in 2017 but we will have to see.

Pros

Benefits. Health, dental, vision. Schedule was good for me. Temperature of building was comfortable.

Cons

No orientation, victim of "the click". Written up for arguing when trying to explain the wound nurse was not using good infection control practices. Written up when I had difficulty renewing my RN license and the ADON was working with an expired green card. Basically harassment !! DON had a hidden camera and microphone, was known to a few staff members.

Pros

8 hr shifts with option of shifts, 90% of the time OT hours if desired with little management approval and no real cap, administration is supportive during times of personal crisis in the way of allowance of time off or altered schedules,

Cons

No true nursing care delivery process in place on some units-nurse or aid ratio depends on numbers vs acuity, frequent staff call outs with no replacement and no concern from admin, few staff members, mostly staffing services employees, great cooperate educational classes but standards not put in place in the centers - little evidenced based nrsg, no incentive: no bonus, no short term disability, no 401k company input (you save your own money and only your money), $0.25/yr raise, all annual evals are >6months delayed, no 30 or 90 day eval given, if you can work here, you can work anywere, staff refer to it as a MASH unit, assistive nursing personal have significantly smaller work load them the nurses, nurses are not felt appreciated, constant struggle on per shift basis
