Don't work in IT at Genesis

Flexibility - that's the only pro I see from an IT employee perspective. I will say this ... I think Genesis really does care about their patients and tries to provide them with the best care possible.

Cons

Benefits are the worst-very expensive and literally nothing but preventative care is covered before you spend $6,000 out of pocket! No match on 401k, no raises or bonuses, except the occasional 1% across the board for the employee who goes above and beyond as well as the person who sleeps on the job. There is no performance management or accountability at all. Boss's play favorites and communication is terrible. There's nothing to motivate employees.
