Pros

wonderful co-workers, able to purchase cheap employee lunches

Cons

(1)unacceptable response time on PTO requests and annual reviews. (2) unable to use PTO time: often denied especially around holidays. Employee has to beg, barter or bite the bullet. Favoritism runs ramp-id in company.(3) no raises (4) Expects employees to perform job duties that are not considered part of rehab then barks about productivity (5) when census is low, the company pimps out employees to other buildings. Often no option to decline and leave early. (6) Unethically high focus on productivity that when numbers are crunched leaves you with little to no down time. I find it hard to believe anyone can hit target productivity quota every day and not take a bathroom break, fix computers as they are down often, . High minutes and no refusals. Co expects employee to perform patient education on patients that may refuse, even if they have severe cognitive issues so they make their minutes.

My Favorite Job. Until the changes came.

Pros

Salary was great. Co-workers were amazing people. The job itself was rewarding and left me thankful for my health and youth at the end of every day. Taught me life lessons I otherwise would not have had. The team work was the best I have ever experienced and rarely was there any "drama" or issues in my department.

Cons

Big changes in management took my direct manager and his manager (Regional) away and put in new people who had no idea what they were doing. Vacation had to be planned for the year and if not, you were written up for taking time without prior approval. Very strict rules enforced by new manager (lots of write ups came, even 2 in one day for some & another on their birthday). This caused a fallout and most of my fantastic team including myself, left.

Pros

Pay was pretty good, benefits. Coworkers are nice. I can't think of anything else beneficial

Cons

Poor administration and poor management. Low employee moral, admin and mgmt are uncaring and rude, only worried about gossip and he say she say talk. Lots if nepatism and favoritism. Staffing was horrible. Staffing person is the meanest unqualified nasty person I ever met. Puts your license in jeapordy.
