      Worst company I have EVER worked for!!

      Pros

      Plenty of hours to work and get burned out! Decent health and dental benefits. Eant time acceues rather quickly over time.

      Cons

      Constant phone calls to cover shifts! NO COMMUNICATION whatsoever between upper management and front line staff. POOR ORIENTATIONS!! New staff just thrown into working without proper training since building is so short staffed. Completely unfair if you ask me!! Complaints are not taken seriously by DON and or administrator!! Unless its something of course that will effect upper management. Too many family members working under the same roof! Ex- mother is a nurse on a unit and her daughter is an LNA. Conflict of interest if you ask me! No real interviews. I came in showed proof of who I am and my nursing license and was hired on the spot!! Then references and background checked!!! They promise you the world and then take it away. EXTREMELY high turnover rates for staff. FAVORITISM!! No accountability for your actions! Staff is not appreciated and are over worked!

      Pros

      Very Ethical company. Good career ladder, promote from within. Lots of education/clinical resources. Company growth throughout the US and into China.

      Cons

      Since going public, eliminated positions and reassigned their duties, so those left are doing more with less without any increase in compensation. GRS more strictly managed than GHC. (GRS had wage freeze for 2+ years, GHC did not) Significant cut in healthcare options, increase in benefit costs. no 401k match for years.
