- What you put in is what you get out of!
- Benefits are outstanding
- Prior colleagues and friendships established
- Compensation
- Technology and solutions offered to customer base
- Management took time to come to the customer site and spend time getting to know the team
Cons
- Upon completion of engagements the risk of being let go. (This is the nature of the business). They are upfront when hiring this is a contract work!
- Would of have been great to get the clearance discussed at start of engagement
I joined Praescient shortly after their founding and proudly worked for them for over 5.5 years. For most of that time, I was away from Praescient's "flagpole" in the D.C. area, but I never felt out of touch; leadership remained engaged and mission-focused. Praescient is all about promoting from within and helping its employees find new roles if they're ready for a change - I was able to diversify my experience by holding several different positions. Benefits (particularly medical) are well above average - you'll probably have hard time finding similar companies who can match them. Work culture is great, and leadership really empowers team members to make decisions.
Cons
Most work tends to be focused between DC and NY, so not ideal if you're looking for options outside of these big city hubs.
