      Too much food. They are always trying to feed you, and if you are like me, weak will power, you'll gain a few pounds.

      Pros

      Praxis offers an environment where employees are encouraged and recognized for achieving high degrees of technical excellence in software development and system engineering disciplines. Senior management is easily accessible to everyone and takes time to know about employees and their families. The work life balance is achievable and enables employees to invest time in their families and personnal interests.

      Core customer set is Government agencies.

      Pros

      Praxis has managed to maintain it's small company feel while continuing to grow year after year. The company culture puts an emphasis on attracting and then retaining top talent, with competitive pay, great benefits, and a focus on continuing to grow and utilize your technical skills. There are few layers of management meaning you feel a direct connection with the goals and direction of the company.

      Cons

      There isn't any sort of career path within the company. There is room to take more responsibility in roles on contracts, but nothing within the Praxis organization, which is probably a side effect of the few layers of management in place.
