Toxic Work Environment

Pros

Literally the worst place I have ever worked.

Cons

Executive level management all despise each other and don't work well together. CEO is a narcissist and has no work/life balance (24 hour emails / texts) and extremely inappropriate with the young women in the office. Not a professional environment; meetings would often turn into shouting matches. If you're not part of the "boys club" of the management team you would be left out on important conversations and decision making. Employees never receive raises or any extra compensation for taking on extra responsibilities.

Pros

The marketing department specifically breeds an environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and teamwork. There is high visibility even in lower level positions, meaning there's an opportunity to make a big impact and voice ideas in a space where they're heard. The end product and industry itself is fun, interesting, exciting, and ever evolving.

Cons

Working at Precept requires an ability to self regulate - can easily burn out if you don't set limits for yourself. On the flip side, working there will leave you well-prepared for anything!

Pros

Precept Wine is full of great people passionate about wine, business, and one another. We are innovative and agile which helps us to be one of the fastest growing wine companies in the US. We focus on people's strengths to grow and succeed. We rally one another and celebrate the wins - give credit to who deserves it! We get to taste lots of different wines from around the world to help build our palates and help us learn more about the industry. Finally, employees are encouraged to speak up about ideas and are empowered to take action.

Cons

Opportunity for better internal communication and education.
