Pros

No supervision as leaders are always attending to personal travel or families. No one comes in to the office.

Cons

So many. Please do your research and do not work here. The sales team is all looking for jobs. Vps are in denial and lie to team. The marketing department has lost 17/21 people in 36 months. It’s insane how poor the leadership is. The CMO is highly unqualified and can not keep employees. The nepotism is nuts. The CEO lies to the board and asks employees to falsify things to cover up. Ask the many people who have left why they did. They are trying to sell the company but the financials are so bad no one will deal with them. The number of extra martial affairs is really disappointing as well. All from leadership. Irresponsible and nefarious leadership.

Great Place to start, not so great in the long run

Pros

- Free Wine - Most people are really nice and friendly - Some company events can be really fun - Nice place to work for a short amount of time - Tasting rooms are decorated really nicely and have friendly staff - Head winemaker is one of the nicest and most intelligent people at the company, learn whatever you can from him

Cons

- COMMUNICATION, all of it, certain people are known there to never answer calls or emails, too many miscommunications, departments don't always work well together on projects. - Not much advancement unless you work in sales -Lots of work and not enough people in specific departments... there are only two HR people for the entire company. Hard for them to do anything about bad behavior from executives or anyone when there are hundreds of employees to look after - Lots of drinking during work hours, not just "tasting", people have full bars at their desks... - Not the most appropriate behavior from the executives and some tenured employees, extraordinarily awkward and unprofessional jokes, and lots of behind-the-back talk.

Pros

Free Wine and the once a year stay at their ranch. The whole thing is designed to make you feel special but you’ll freeze your butt off sleeping in an outdoor hut because they won’t dare take you during the good season weather. That’s a slot that clients pay for meaning you’re aren’t worth it.

Cons

Supply Chain Director will talk down to you, not give you opportunities to show your worth, will make you think that you don’t have the experience necessary, will not share your accomplishments with Operation VP. They will lie to get you terminated when they feel threatened that they have lost your respect and you have resulted to speaking with HR. No room for growth. I was constantly crushing reviews and doing a ton more than what was expected for somebody in my role and yet there was no room for any promotion. People here get about 10-20% less salary than anything else in your related field. When I started working this job I was immediately cornered about my politics. There is no diversity here. Everybody in the corporate office is white or Asian. Senior management keeps unprofessional relationships with management under them creating a biased unfair environment if you end up having an issue with your boss. I currently work in a place where they do the opposite of all that I have mentioned and I now have a better, higher paying job title to prove that I was more than capable and wrongly terminated.
