      Pros

      This PCC plant is doing better than most. Bonuses are higher than other PCC plants. Great young engineering staff. Manufacturing leadership is okay. Benefits are good.

      Cons

      Way of thinking is still old school. No accountability in the management staff. Engineering is needed to bail them out when fundamental ownership and accountability of their department would solve the nontechnical production issues they have. Continuous improvement (lean six sigma) is not strong. Visible applications and manufacturing engagement is needed to improve.

      Pros

      Pay and rewards are reasonable. I suspect the company will continue to succeed but at significant cost to their employees.

      Cons

      Management style is strict 1970's style. You get disciplined for everything, missing a clock in, being off ill etc. Two takeovers and three lots of redundancies in 4 years. Union reps are made redundant. They force 20% of staff to fail regardless of their performance with the performance management system in place.

      Pros

      Excellent pay and benefits. One exception is vacation: depending on which location you're at and what level of experience you have, you may get very little vacation time.

      Cons

      Company only focuses on results, they're not people driven. Most employees work tons of hours with very little recognition.
