Great company, no upward mobility for repository technicians

Pros

The people are fun to work with. Great experience builder for college graduates.

Cons

In the biorepository, there is a high turnover rate because the job does not utilize skills learned in college and there is no hope to transfer to a department that gains relevant lab experience. In the rare cases of transfers, it is a lateral movement with no pay increase.

Pros

They only offer laboratory Technicians I only 3 Month contract which could be either a con or pro. In mt case it was a con. They can get rid of you in a moments notice.

Cons

Management seeks kiss butt employees who do not even know nothing about genetic processes or that fact what a centrifuge is used for. Do I need to say any more. Stay away from this company if you know anything at all.

- Majority of the people are great. - Benefits: good insurance, PTO, tuition assistance - Work/Life Balance: Leave your work at your job - Company Values are great. - Low Stress

Cons

- Communication is an issue, especially when dealing with HR and Upper Management. - Not much room for advancement for the majority of the positions. - Work becomes monotonous very quickly - No cross-training or employee development below management level
