      Get to see prototypes early

      Cons

      Everything else. This family owned business is a combination of arrogant and ignorant. They treat their employees like slaves and wonder why they are depleting their local workforce. They make false promises based on loose overall direction of the company. Totally willing to cut massive amounts of people after another failed attempt to grow. Only the true losers stick around which only perpetuates the constant rate of failure.

      Pros

      Exciting and fun projects. No day is the same there is always a new challenge.

      Cons

      Long, long hours 70+ per week with no paid over time. Very high turnover due to hours and management/ family squabbling. (Family run business) No opportunities for career advancement All of engineering and design is always afraid of being let go at the end of a project. Simply because management has a reputation of doing so.

      Pros

      Lots of time away from my wife. Coworkers are awesome.

      Cons

      I was salaried and worked 28 straight days with no flex time. No organization of project management and constantly rushed with low quality. Not willing to invest in new technologies , always developing with old ideas and limitations by upper management. I do NOT recommend Prefix to anyone who actually values their career.
