Pros
This company still offers employees pensions, which is an uncommon and attractive benefit. Teams can have a strong sense of camaraderie. Employee wellness and work-life-balance is strongly encouraged (for most roles).
Cons
Employee culture was often discouraged by bureaucratic obstacles to making a meaningful change to the member experience. Also people are not willing to communicate directly when they may not be perceived as likeable. It was difficult to make a case for promotion.
