Pros
It’s a paycheck hat shows up on time (and a lot smaller than it should be!)
Cons
Benefits of flying for the “best of the best” * Long duty days for no reason. (Duty on at 8:00am at the FBO for a plane that is AOG and definitely going to be broke for days). Or duty on at 6am for two legs, 3hrs of flight time and sit at the FBO until 6pm “in case something pops up” * CEO claims 14,000 hrs of flight time and openly is hostile to pilots and lies to them. Coerces them to fly vfr for his convenience even though the company GOM expressly forbids it. WHAT A TREAT! * Like flying jets with dual FMS’s, and one is disabled because the company won’t repair it? STEP RIGHT UP! * Wanna stay at Choice branded hotels and not get points? Have ZERO say or control over the garbage accommodations you will live in for 55% of your life??! You’ve found your dream job! * Wanna hear “there’s no such thing as duty day” from company brass everytime you open your schedule and see an illegal duty day?! OMG!! You’ve found your NEW HOME! * Put up with constant changes to your schedule, such that it eats up sometime an entire day at home BEFORE YOU EVEN COME ON DUTY? What a coincidence! PJJ has this ON LOCK! * Pilot Incentive Pay Plan! AWESOME! Is it even feasible to attain incentive pay? Heck no! It’s a joke, intended to get flight crews to continue to chase incentive pay, ignoring aircraft that are in need of maintenance
