Sorority Recruiting Agency

Pros

- "Wine Down" aka happy hour every Thursday with team (in office) - Company outings if office hit their monthly goal - Nice office, really nice employee gifts ( but rather they should put the money towards employee's salary not in flowers, gifts, etc...they spend $10K in flowers annually)

Cons

- Feels like you are working at a sorority (98% women and catty at that) - Micromanaged - Low base salary - Changes comp structure every three months or whenever they feel like it - "Seasoned" recruiters are ruthless and get their way because management can't afford to let them go. - Rolled out "Premier Promise" aka a program to give back to the community. Canceled on volunteer events numerous times. They since have got rid of that program.

Pros

- Opportunity to make a lot of money if you choose to be on full commission. - Autonomy. - Benefits are good: unlimited PTO, free meals 2xs a week, 401k, nice healthcare options - Rewards if you do well.

Cons

- From the outside the culture seems positive and happy; internally, however, everyone is so competitive and money hungry that it creates a lot of negativity. One of the recruiters literally yelled at me during my first week because I spoke with one of her candidates. - The commission structure changes a few times a year resulting in less potential for employee gain. - If you don't adjust to change well, don't work here. Things are changing constantly, most of the time without a clear reason. - Major turnover, which is fairly typical for agency, but this affects morale. - To survive here, you have to do a lot of cold calling and business development, which is not clearly communicated before joining. - You're on 24/7.

Thank you for your feedback. We understand your frustration regarding mismanaged expectations of your job responsibilities. Rapidly growing organizations are challenged with iterating quickly to meet the needs of both clients and employees. Pros

- A lot of autonomy to run your "desk" as your own business - The Premier name carries a lot of weight as a leader in the industry. - Benefit of working with great clients and fun colleagues - Unlimited vacation policy! - Flexibility to work from 3 great offices: SF, SV, EB

Cons

- Can think of too many but if I have to put one, I would say the culture is predominately young 20-somethings. However, they are adding more "seasoned" professionals that have added a more mature balance to the company.
