Good place to start your career, but that's it!

Pros

Since Presence Health is fairly new and growing, it's a great place to start your career and move up. My advice is to get your experience and move on! Fast!!!

Cons

HR is unorganized and super slow. Managers show favoritism and/or don't know how to led. Communication is terrible system wide.. I read about layoffs from the Tribune and Crain's and the acquisition with Amita from the news way BEFORE we had any communication from upper level management. We're a Catholic organization that DOESN'T get Good Friday off! We have forced PTO days for ridiculous holidays such as Columbus Day. Terrible medical insurance, we have super HIGH specialist & PCP's copays.

Good team atmosphere. Nursing administration is trying to continually improve practice. Great community atmosphere. I feel like I'm part of a family with both my coworkers and with the patient community.

Cons

Management can be stingy with staffing.
