Great company, but slightly unorganized.
Pros
-Privately owned company -Huge potential growth in the company, which leads to growth and promotional opportunities. -no uniforms -great communication with most other supervisors (even at the other plants) -office culture is relaxed and friendly. -production floor does have a family feel (cliche, I know). I truly care for my teams and vice versa. -office team is slightly on the younger side, so fresh ideas and perspectives. Plant manager and VP are both 40 or under. -no "dictators" in management. Most managers are easy to approach and listen to you. -flexible with schedule and can leave early/come in late as long as you make up the time in the week -Good pay and benefits -Honestly, good work/life balance.
Cons
-the company still runs like a small company, when it's a much bigger operation. -lack of organization on the production floor -a lot of processes are still done manually and the company doesn't operate in a digital manner (ex: time off requests are still done with paper) working weekends, but it's alternating shifts and rotating supervisor schedule. -most production workers don't speak English, which makes it difficult to communicate. Even some lead hands don't speak English -Can be a supervisor over 2-4 departments and have a difficult time balancing your time and priorities. -a lot of moving parts. Some parts you need for production come from other Price plants that each deal with their own issues. Very dependent on them. -Pay could be better, but the other benefits outweigh it.
