Pros

none I can think of

Cons

New staff members are required to take turns doing cleaning duties of the shared office kitchen for the first 15 years of employment. Why was this not mentioned in the job postings or interviews? Why are senior staff members exempt from this rule? Will they step in and help when it’s short staffed? How do you feel this is contributing to employee retention and motivation? What is this communicating to potential hires about their value? Also- why aren’t employees allowed to decorate for the office holiday events, that you assign to them, while on the clock? Why would any company ask an employee to do work-related tasks on their own time? Lastly- why is there not more transparency about hiring people as temps first? It took nearly a year to start utilizing standard employee perks like PTO and paid holidays. Had I been aware of these major discrepancies, I would not have accepted a position here.

We're glad you feel PrideStaff is a great entry to staffing and a good stepping stone in your career. As you know, each office's core positions can vary depending on location. Light industrial is a vital industry we staff for. If you have any concerns regarding diversifying, we ask that you discuss them with your local management. Wishing you all the best!
