Every case I was sent on was terrible. The 1st one there was a lady screaming at me and treated me like a dog. The next one the client was withholding documents needed to chart. And the last one was just overall horrible. The agencies don't inform the patient or the patient's family Of this Pacific job duties of the nurse. The patients expect for you to wash dishes and do all kind of other crazy stuff that does not fall in line with the nursing procedure. They expect to just treat the nurses any kind of way in the agency's don't back the nurses up or support the nurses. The director was very vindictive And decided not to give me any more cases Because I didn't want to take a case where the patient kept going to the hospital and there were caregivers there who were not licenced professionals who went all out of the way for the patient in the family and I was expected to do the same.

Good Afternoon, thank you for sharing your feedback. We are saddened to hear your experience has been less than ideal. Here at AUHC we strive to cultivate an environment of trust and communication and will be sure to keep your concerns front of mind moving forward, as unheard is the last thing we want our care providers to feel. We pride ourselves in supporting our nurses and make a point to correct any issues related to work that patients/families request, such as doing dishes, that are out of scope of the job. We apologize that in your case this was not addressed appropriately but as an organization this is a policy we strongly enforce. Mediation: we want you to know that if there is some miscommunication with a supervisor, you may always contact HR to try to resolve the issue. Pay: We pay the Home Health industry standard, and always have work available for our providers. We appreciate your service and hear your concerns.

Pros

Nice office staff ,(Reception, HR)

Cons

I was told I would receive 6 to 8 weeks of mentorship and training. My first skills lab I became nervous. The nurse critiquing me was rude. I stayed calm. We were told "If you don't know something, don't worry about it. We'll help you." I was let go the next day. I was told, "your skills are not what I hoped they would be. I don't have time to train you. You won't be successful at this job ". It was an ambush. I had given up opportunities to take this job. I was reviewing skills on my own They didn't care. Be very careful with this company.
