Love the staff, hate the management

Pros

I love my co-workers and students. They are the reason I'm still at the school.

Cons

Management does nothing. They are unhelpful when we need assistance with difficult children. The office doesn't know what they're doing. The pay is awful with no benefits and management gets mad when you call off because you're sick.

Pros

Good curriculum and excellent facilites.

Cons

Rude management and staff. Several familiy members working at the facility, a lot of gossip and jealousy among staff. Management shows complete disregard toward employee's personal needs.

School In Disorder

Pros

One of the best things about this job is the summer. If you are a teacher looking to make money during the summer, than this is the perfect fit. The hiring process was pretty quick as well as long as you are organized and prepared. The kids were the best thing about this job!

Cons

This company expects too much for what they are willing to pay you. The children get to the school so early and most days things are not done from the night before, so you are spending your time, stressed out because you are trying to play catch up. Also there is not enough storage space or a good place to serve meals. Because the employees are not paid enough, most of the employees are immature and lazy, which then falls back on the quality employees. The lead teachers are not given consistant planning time nor do they have time in the room without the presence of the children. Most of the staff are not trained on how to use the school computers to bring up templates or newsletters that the school expects them to implement.
