Pros

It is a nice facility

Cons

Supposed to know what your job when you get hired. It takes more than watching some video to train. Management provides no help or " hands on training" to teachers to meet Primrose "standards" and managements expections. Management talks behind your back and there is definitely an in-group and an out-group. Favoritism. Curriculum is very rigid and can not be supplimented. Don't try to be creative if you work here. Talking behind your back.

Management is ridiculous

Pros

The kids are adorable and a blast to work with. The parents are great and supportive of teachers. The other teachers are great to work with and are very supportive of one another but they do not last long.

Cons

The curriculum coordinator is a joke. She stares into the classrooms and yells at the teachers rather than talking to them. The management staff doesn't like to take responsibility for things that occur and blames the teachers for everything. Parents and teachers became concerned when the management was not willing to call when children were ill and had fevers (unwilling to call unless the child had a temp of 101.5). Even if the children were throwing up or visible unwell, the managers wouldn't alert the parents. The teachers were fleeing because they were not being backed by the management. Few teachers left because of the lack of bathroom breaks and the sickness rules installed by the management (as in, if you're throwing up and have a fever of 103 you still had to be at work). Many times teachers would request a bathroom break emergency and the management would continue to sit up front on their computers and would not go to help the teacher for a half an hour of more. This was also the case if a student was injured and a teacher called for an ice pack.

Pros

Friendly co-workers, free meals, set schedule, great curriculum for children

Cons

PAY is awful, no room for advancements, management is horrible, management picked favorites, lots of gossip, management never fixed any problems, the owner was rude and always let everyone know that any teacher was replaceable, no raises,
