Pros

-Great front office staff -Great families and kids -Curriculum already planned for you, all you have to do is read it and implement it -High quality food -Work room with many resources available to help plan lessons -Pays better than other day cares

Cons

-Doesn't pay enough for a certified teacher -Teachers have very little leeway in planning their own lessons. Schedules and lesson plans are set out for you and you must follow them to the T. -Need bigger break room, only fits about two people in at a time

Pros

Dedicated staff that take good care of your child and genuinely care. Ratios are decent and school is very safe.

Cons

For a company that makes BIG money..they do not pay their staff enough..yes, still more than many schools BUT for the amount of work and what is expected of their teachers, they could and should pay more...SUPER HIGH TURNOVER OF STAFF. They cut corners by hiring young girls fresh out of HS so they can pay less. Children are often in the care of staff that have no Early Childhood Education units or experience. Also children are moves too quickly up to next age-room; hard on kids and teachers to have kids transitioning every 3 to 6 months in/out of classroom. Furthermore, the outside play yards are sooooo boring; NO sandbox or bikes, yikes!! And the one big play-structure for preschool & toddler age kids is often too hot to go on; simple solution...cover with a canopy/cover. School does not do enough 'sensory' play and messy (with is developmentally appropriate) projects. Expectations of the children are WAY too high setting them up for constant failure and/or being yelled at by teachers.
