Pros

Good pay for the job I did and the amount of work expected of me. Got to interact with the students and staff of all levels.

Cons

This probably isn't typical of the entire PGCC but in the library, workers are not real enjoyable. They seemed to come off as snobbish. No real training. Little to no advancement opportunities. Fellow co-worker was there for 5 years before they offered her a full-time position.

Pros

I love Prince Georges Community College because the students are awesome. They bring a seriousness and level of engagement that inspires me.

Cons

One of the downsides of working as an adjunct professor anywhere is the lack of advancement opportunity. It is rare that full time positions open up.
